PROMECA Workshop 2018 – Membrane Development and Membrane Reactors

TECNALIA. Mikeletegi Pasealekua 2, San Sebastián, Spain

July 13th, 2018

At TECNALIA in Donostia-San Sebastián (Spain) was held the 2nd Workshop of the PROMECA project (http://promecaproject.org/) on Membrane Development and Membrane Reactors. The objective was to present the state of the art of membranes for gas separation, catalysts and membrane reactors, indicating the industrial specifications and the modelling and design of innovative plants based on membrane reactors technologies. It gave and overview of the actual research results on membranes development for gas separation (i.e. O2, H2, ..) based on organic and inorganic membranes, catalyst and membrane reactors for H2 production from different sources as well applications of membrane reactor in m-CHP systems.

The workshop also included a visit in San Sebastian at TECNALIA main office.
